No You have to kill the chicken before eating it and HIV/Aids is a virus thus it does not survive after its host is dead. That is even if the Chicken can contract HIV/Aids which I doubt as it is a human strain. It would then also have to mutate into a chicken strain of HIV/Aids. Call it CIV/Aids lol but then how the hell will a human contract a now mutated HIV/Aids strain in a dead chicken by consuming its meat. Please tell me you are joking.

No. The virus needs a suitable host to live. A hen can't get HIV, so it's impossible to give it to someone else if you don't have it.

If a hen swallows a condom full of sperm, I'm thinking it would suffocate on that rubber condom. Also, a human disease can't be transmitted to a fowl. @Silth: This guy lives in Japan, not America.

Okay, I don;lt even think a human would get infected from swallowing that condom, let alone that chicken. Even if the hen did get infected, the disease would die with the hen. Even if the disease stayed there, it would be killed when the chicken was cooked. so yeah

What I want to know is, was the hen being particularly nosy or the person with HIV (AIDS is a different condition to HIV BTW) being particularly untidy? It is unlikely you could get any virus from eating the meat of an animal, especially if the animal was cooked thoroughly. You are more at risk with getting a bacterial infection than a viral one from meat. As said above, AIDS is a different condition from HIV and is not contracted by a virus. AIDS is caused by HIV affecting a person's white blood cells. Even if a human swallowed the condom, it is just possible it could pass out the other side without affecting a person's system, but if they did they'd become HIV positive, not catch AIDS.

this might be considered a stupid question but is the risk for contracting aids or hiv higher if the person receiving anal intercourse has anal fissures? i am a homosexual male dealing with painful fissures and i have not yet had anal intercourse, but i plan to someday. i am also wanting to be as safe as possible and planning to use condoms, but i know they are not 100% effective in preventing diseases. has anyone ever dealt with this situation or does anyone know a non-surgical cure for anal fissures? any help would be appreciated!

YES! It is already a very high risk activity but with fissures it is even higher. the fissures will give the virus an even easier passage way within the body, or allow an easier passage for the virus to leave the body. good luck and remember... safer may not always be the most fun, but it is the best way. just be careful when selecting your partner(s). A lot of people, hetero and homosexual, have STDs.

That's nuts. You need to not worry about aids, but get yourself fixed first. It's like saying, I got a broken arm and I was wondering if I start doing handstands if it will throw off my tennis game. Get it cured and healed long before... even if it is surgery.

Yes, you are at a 100% high risk with anal fissures or hemmorhides, fistuleas. These are all open lesions that will be an incubation point for HIV's or any other STD's. I don't condone your position in life but, your there! so, at least your both honest, and forward, in your attitude instead of being in denial and getting someone into trouble with STD's. If you insist this is part of your lifestyle and, you intend to continue your lifestyle then, I would highly reccomend you see your health provider and, get an opinion as to surgery to remove these hemmorhides, or, help in the healing process so the infection rate is low. Also, you are correct in assuming HIV's and AID's are a risk even with a condom. I think the probablities are 99% with a condom being safe. It's the 1% that you have to worry about.

Which HIV/AIDS charity should I donate to?
I want to make a donation to an HIV/AIDS charity, but can't decide on the organization. I want to donate to a cause that will help provide relief to those suffering from this vile disease, but I also want my donation to go towards research to end this plague once and for all. I want the most to come out of my gift. I would like to make the donation to a global organization preferably, or at least a Canadian one.

hey man thanks for wanting to make a donation to a HIV charity. i work for one in the us. personally look for one close to home, and one that has meaning to YOU. the ONLY suggestion i have for you is when you donate the money make sure you specify where you want the money to go. if it is a general donation the money will go to stupid things like someones new office furniture but if you say i want this money to go to a client that needs medications or food by law (atleast in the USA) they have to put the money where the donor request. thanks again. oh if you still cant find one the agency i work for is in New Orleans, Louisiana. we got destroyed in hurricanne Katrina in 2005 and trying to make a come back. thanks again

The only problem with "normal" especially when any of those partners are not monogamous is that no one can know for sure of their status unless they and their partners are fresh from a clean test. Always always wrap it up. There are plenty of HIV positive people out there who thought they were sleeping with a "clean" partner. Get a test and chose your future partners more carefully. Oh, and wrap it up! It's your health. No one else is going to protect it.

Don't sleep with this girl. She is most likely diseased in some way even if she doesn't have HIV. She obviously has problems with impulse control stemming from the fact that she's a slut. Your penis will probably turn black and fall off just thinking about having sex with her. Shame on you.

HIV, the virus that can lead to AIDS, does not appear out of nowhere. One person must have it for the other person to get it. You can not get HIV from someone who does not have HIV in the first place. The problem is that since there are no symptoms, you can't tell if someone has HIV just by looking at them. The only way to find out if you have HIV is to get tested.
