i hear some people naturally have a genetic trait that prevents them from getting HIV or AIDS... is that true? is it more of HIV wont kill them? or the HIV just doesnt survive in the body of people who are just immune to it? or is it that HIV is inside and lurking inside the person yet just doesnt or cant do anything? what kind of people have this gene? is it dominant or recessive? whats the theory and historical reference to this gene?

I should imagine these genes are recessive? but people that can resist HIV exist there was one man who hid because of all the attention these people keep it quiet because they dont want to be prodded with needles and become lab rats all in good time, maybe a few people will become known :)

People who have HIV but the disease never progresses in them (proven by consistent T-Cell tests), are VERY few. But they exist, and researchers are using their genes to figure out how to make a cure for HIV. There is a medical term for these people but I forget it...
