First the minister, priest, counselor, social worker, etc. should direct the affected person to a center where appropriate treatment and counseling can be given. Second, the cleric or lay person can offer help and consolation to the afflicted. Prevention is a tough sell. Seems that people regard Exodus 20:14, Leviticus 20:10 and 1 Corinthians 6:15-18 with great disdain. Instead, it's "be sure to use condoms."
