What are the issues associated with HIV/AIDS?

Easy to get sick/feel weak. and eventually you get so sick you die.

Non medical issues are the ignorance of the general population. There are many people who are so uneducated that they believe myths on how people become infected. They also think they can tell if a person is HIV+ just by looking at them. Or that they don't feel they are at risk because they are not gay. Or there are many people who are infected, but have never tested so they don't know they have HIV and are infecting others. These are some of the major issues.

I'm looking for a fiction book of the romance genre that deals with HIV/AIDS?
It can be from the POV of the person who has it or from the other person. I want to read about something that deals at least a little with the fear of beginning a relationship with someone who is positive...Doesnt matter whether its a gay or a straight couple. But nothing about third world countries, please.

wow so theres people with blood type D, so this kind of people don't get it... interesting, so this is the only people who can be immune to this disease?

There's a special blood type called D that's extremely rare. Those with that blood are immune to HIV and AIDS.

Some people have a natural immunity to HIV/AIDS. Their cells lack the docking mechanism HIV uses to enter the host cell. It has nothing to do with blood type.

Get yourself tested and wear a condom every time you have sex.

You get checked too. If you are still un infected take all the necessary precaution. If you tend to chew skin on the inside of your mouth - don't french kiss. Use condoms. No sharing tooth brushes. Go to the doctor together and let him/her explain all the measures you need to take. And you continue to love them - just like you would if the diagnosis was cancer.

Generally, no, but in a case like yours (Law enforcement) they might, especially HIV.

No. STD's have different kind of test and can't be traced by CBC and urinalysis.
