3 :
There are many. BUT most of them are run through community based HIV/AIDS organizations an the homes are kept very private.
4 :
there is an island that they put people like that on, away from society and other people. Similar to lepers in a leper colony, noone wants these type of people around.

Why would you want to advocate a disease? You could tell people that a cure exists, and that is practicing sex with your opposite sex partner within the framework of marriage. However, for speaking the truth, you could get marched to the principal's office, beaten, and/or expelled. As long as you lie, however, and assure people it comes from the "monkeys in Africa," things will be "fine."
2 :
You could petition the vaccine manufacturers to stop putting AIDS and cancer viruses in the vaccines.

If HIV/AIDS originated in Chimpanzees, how on earth did it spread to humans

If HIV/AIDS originated in Chimpanzees, how on earth did it spread to humans?
Are there people in Africa getting it on with Apes?

1 :
I guess no but read that it spread due to eating bush meat which included chimps and many people ate it[mainly europeans and africans].And hence it spread since people didnot notice where it came from.
2 :
I think they eat them. No, to getting it on with them. EWwwww Just wondering..........why are there still monkeys and chimps since Darwin thinks we evolved from them. Our relatives are still living in the trees in Africa.
3 :
LOL, funny but I'll try not too humor you, but try to give examples of my logic. Chimpanzees genetically are close to us. "Were the hairless ape!" OO Ah ah! :P AIDS is something that can be very fugly. So it's easy for it to affect or effect us.??? I think that was one of the reasons why monkeys were first sent into space, tested helmets,"etc., etc, etc."
4 :
Possibly, but it was most likely transferred through the hunting of these apes. All you need is for an infected chimpanzee who's been shot at to bite or bleed on the cut of a hunter and you can get transference. One of the earliest confirmed cases of aids was found in the preserved body of a british sailor who died in the early half of the century. His body was preserved because his symptoms where so strange and couldn't be explained. During one of his trips, he hunted primates. There are also many african diseases that resembled Aids before it became widely known in the Western Societies. Aids as a disease could have passed from ape to human many times over.
5 :
No, they eat bush meat (Chimps).

how can you find a listings of people with hiv/aids

how can you find a listings of people with hiv/aids?
My friend says its public health records and you can get a list. Can you get a list of people?

I don't think it is public info. Special laws were passed to protect AIDs patients. Plus even normal patient-doctor confidentiality would make it difficult to learn anything about specific people.
2 :
right long with the registry for people with STD's, pregnancies, cancer and any other medical affliction. You DO know that personal medical information is protected by the law right?
3 :
you can't. however there is a program.. in various cities inwhich a person with hiv/aids.. has a casemanager contact the infected persons sexual partners to inform them they may need to see a physcian. the rule is.. treat everyone like they have aids. use protection. distance yourself from blood spills and other bodily fluids. use proper hygiene.

I'm sure there would be an Omaha AIDS Services office. If all else fails, contact the state government and ask for this information.
2 :
I'm guessing Atlanta, Georgia would be pretty well equiped to manage AIDS cases, since the Centers for Disease Control is centered there. ... although I'm not sure what you're asking. รข˜¼

Sounds too much like a homework question. Do your research yourself.
2 :
Hey,I have had HIV for 7 yrs now.The effects I have noticed most is my severe fatigue.I get alot of depression.I had to go on disability 4 yrs ago. Before that I was a roofer for 18 yrs but my health wouldn't allow me to go on.I haven't had to go on any drugs yet but I'm not far off.It has turned my life completely upside down.My family and friends are very supportive although they are heartbroken that I have to live with this everyday.Anyways,I hope this helped you out.
3 :
Check out the CDC website (Centers for Disease Control). There's a lot of useful information and links that could help you out.
4 :
HIV is a retrovirus that uses CD4 cells, or white blood cells as hosts for reproduction. With every host cell used, a CD4 dies. As the numbers of CD4 decrease, and as the viral load increases, the body becomes more prone to infections. This is what AIDS is. It is a stage of HIV development, where the CD4 counts are low and the viral counts are high, giving your body no resistance to outside infection (i.e., Bronchitis, Upper Respiratory Infections, Cancer, other STDs, etc.) This is why people die. Without outside infections, HIV/AIDS is harmless. In terms of family, it depends on the individual. In my case, my family was very awry of adopting me at birth due to my virus. Eventually, as more information came out, they educated themselves and accepted it. Many people are not as fortunate. Workplaces also have a difference in how they would treat an individual. Some occupations, such as military service, or law enforcement, often discriminate against HIV-positive applicants.
5 :
Nice Try
