It's transmitted through human fluids like blood or sexual fluids. You have to get blood work done to see if you have it and it could take years to show up. The symptoms are a weakened immune system that leaves you susceptible to things like Pneumonia that will eventually kill you.
2 :
Transmitted mostly through blood, bodily fluids (though not saliva), and sexual activity. The disease itself attacks your immune system, so the first things that will happen is that you will become generally sick, with flu-like symptoms. Because of this it's not easily catchable at first since it might look and act like anything else. And since HIV can incubate undetected for months and even years, the only way to be sure you're not carrying it is regular doctor's visits, and regular testing if you're sexually active.
3 :
Well look at your privet parts and see if there is any bumps. Ask your partner has an hiv/aids and if he or she has it and you two have done-it before then you might have hiv/aids too.
4 :
HIV/AIDS is most often transmitted via sexual contact, and can most easily be prevented through the use of a condom. Sharing of needles by drug users is another source of contact, which is why many health advocates recommend the distribution of free, disposable needles. Health care workers have a high risk of contracting the disease if bodily fluids are transferred during a medical, surgical, or dental procedure. Also they can be hurt by careless handling of needles. Blood transfusions and organ transplants were once a source of transmission, but careful screening has practically eliminated this as a source. A pregnant or nursing mother with HIV/AIDS can pass the disease to her (unborn) child. There is NO danger of passing the virus through insect bites (such as mosquitoes) I'm including links so you can find out more.

you have to share blood to get hiv/aids , can be transmitted threw intercourse or a cut. So be cautious and the only way to know if you do is to get a blood test. I mean it will make your immune system weak, but alot of things do that so you would just have to get tested.

the only way to know is to get tested

well, nowadays it's a bit hard to get HIV from getting your ear pierced, or any piercing. Only if you go to a really raunchy place where it is evident that it is not sanitary. Kissing can pass on HIV if both parties have a wound or lesion in their mouths and the infected person's saliva gets in. I would be a lot more worried of STDs which can be passed on by something as simple as touch...
3 :
Very low. There has NEVER been a case of HIV being transmitted through piercings or tattoos. The HIV virus dies immediately when it contacts open air. The reason that injection needles can transmit HIV is because blood gets trapped inside the barrel, and may be injected into the person when they use it. But piercing and tattoo needles cannot transmit HIV, because they are exposed to the air. However, piercing and tattoo needs CAN transmit Hepatitis, which is a much tougher virus in terms of how long it can survive in open air. Making out does not pose any risk of contracting HIV. He would have to drink GALLONS of saliva in order to have a significant exposure risk through kissing. But if he is having sexual intercourse, then he is at risk.
4 :
You are making a lot of assumptions. Ear piercing will not cause HIV infection.

In Africa, most people with HIV/AIDS tend to be severely wasted towards the end. Before this however, you can only suspect that somebody has AIDS because of frequent opportunistic infections. Like HIV everywhere, one has to confirm their suspicions by doing the blood test. A common symptom is recurrent STDs In my experience, yeast infection is a common sign of immune deficiency (AIDS) in both men and women. Females tend to have persistent vaginal candidiasis, while men tend to have candida (yeast) of the the esophagus. The major complaint is usually 'difficulty in swallowing.' Other opportunistic diseases tend to present in a similar fashion, e.g. TB, pneumonia, cancer, etc.

I imagine if they have open sores.
2 :
If they have a secondary infection like TB, but then it would be due to the TB and not due to HIV/AIDS.
3 :
If the parent or guardian cannot supply medical evidence that the child is not in an infectous state.
4 :
Go to website of RYAN WHITE, the child from Indiana who eventually died but his Mother fought for the change of laws.

where can you look it up? in the patent office? are you sure some sick fucker didn't just patent it before it was complete?
2 :
You can patent anything excpet perpetual motion machines and free energy machines. Just because something is patented doesn't mean that it actually exists. Somebody may have the idea for a cure, but cannot yet actually manufacture it. For example, I have the idea for shipping small packages arround the world almost instantly. It's all ready to go, but nobody has invented a matter transporter yet.
3 :
Just because something is patented, that doesn't mean that it works. There are numerous false cures out there, including the one you describe, which is the patent for "Tetrasil." The website below, an international AIDS/HIV charity, describes the treatment as follows. You'll notice that the doctor who patented it makes a clear distinction between being cured of AIDS, and testing positive for HIV. "A patent held by Dr. Marvin S. Antelman claims that this simple chemical compound cures AIDS by “electrocuting” HIV. Dr. Antelman admits his approach to AIDS is “non-conventional” and he does not trust viral load tests: “Accordingly we have patients who display viral load reduction and those that do not who are nevertheless cured of AIDS”, he has said. Tetrasilver tetroxide is more commonly used for disinfecting swimming pools. After it was promoted as an AIDS cure in Zambia the government banned Tetrasil because it has no proven benefits for people living with HIV. In America it is illegal to promote Tetrasil for the treatment or prevention of any disease." This is not a cure for HIV or AIDS. I'm sorry.
