A common symptom is recurrent STDs In my experience, yeast infection is a common sign of immune deficiency (AIDS) in both men and women. Females tend to have persistent vaginal candidiasis, while men tend to have candida (yeast) of the the esophagus. The major complaint is usually 'difficulty in swallowing.' Other opportunistic diseases tend to present in a similar fashion, e.g. TB, pneumonia, cancer, etc.
