Will this virus cause the lyph nodes to swell and stay swollen? or do they swell for a few months then go back down the swell again?

Well if your immune system is in a state of shock or disfunction, sometimes your lymph nodes will swell up and remain like that for up to three days. The best way to make the swelling go down is to drink some vinegar and rub your nodes while the vinegar is running down into your stomach. This should cause your swelling to subside.
