Mouth swab at a free clinic.

it's a blood test or sometimes a saliva test. you can go to your county health department for a free test. you can also buy a test onlilne from cvs or walgreens, but this will involve drawing your own blood. it takes up to 6 months for HIV antibodies to show up in your blood after your potential exposure, so if you think you were exposed last month and you get tested this month and it's negative, you will still need to go back 6 months after the exposure to get re-tested.
