I've answered several questions like this, with different states substituted in each question. As far as I know, all states have laws requiring people who know they have HIV, the virus that can lead to AIDS, to notify sexual partners of their infection before having sex with them. People who know that they have HIV, but have sex with people without telling them about the infection, can be charged with a felony, and spend many years in jail if convicted. The exact wording of the charges varies from state to state. Some states call it attempted murder. As far as I know, there are no such laws about partner notification about other STDs.
