3 months ago i had sex with my ex girlfriend. she's 18 and I'm 21. sadly after the contact...I've been diagnosed with gonorrhea and i think it's cured with antibiotics. right now...my worry is... is it common to acquire HIV/AIDS from gonorrhea or other std? is there a big chance of getting it?

the problem is this.... many people are unaware of having chlamydia and gonorrhea and thus pass it on to their partners.. also those same people who are unaware are actually more prone to getting HIV/AIDS virus if in contact with it.. so lets say she was unaware of having gonorrhea, and she slept with some dude who let's say..was unaware of having HIV, she is now unaware of knowing she is at HIGHER RISK and thus contracts both HIV easier bc she had the previous gonorrhea infection.. that's why its sooo important to get tested with ur partner and wear condoms bc it can be very scary.. but dont get it confused.. not all people with HIV have some other STD..and not all people with a STD like gonorrhea will have HIV.. but its unfortunate, many of those who are unaware of having STD's are risking thier lives with partners who are unfaithful or their taking much risks by sleeping around with different people.. i dont want to scare u but i would for ur sake of mind get tested for HIV and other STD's.. bc obvisouly she either is messing around or had a previous partner who was messin around !
