Yes, there many different ways that don't involve sex where you can contract the disease. Do your research, and trust no one. Dont ever have sex unprotected. Its a shame that even married monogamous relationships have to use caution nowadays, because of infidelity. It's sad, but there's always a risk of contracting or passing something. Good Luck.

Yes, through oral or condom malfunction there is still a chance of passing HIV to someone. If either of you have had even protected sex with someone with HIV, its *slightly* possible you could have it. If you are worried you should both get tested for STD's and then you can put your minds at ease.

Yes, it's true that the Pill is an effective method of birth control when used properly; however, the Pill does not protect against HIV or other sexually transmitted diseases. The only 100 percent foolproof method of preventing an unwanted pregnancy or STDs is abstinence. One time is all it takes to get pregnant or to get a STD. Don't let anyone talk you into having unprotected sex even once, or you may pay for a lifetime through an unplanned pregnancy and the resulting consequences. Take care of yourself and your body and refuse unprotected sex.
