Brilliant answer from Amit there... But essentially, the main way of getting HIV (the virus that causes AIDS) is to have have sex without a condom on. And yes, essentially that means going inside you. The other main way to get HIV is by contaminated blood, e.g. if you are a drug user and share needles. There are other ways to get HIV, but to keep the reply straightforward, they are the two main ways.
