anemia is a deficiency of red blood cells, it's not aids.

Anemia has NOTHING to do with AIDS. It means you have low iron in your blood and most of the time it is from a bad diet which doesn't include enough healthy foods or it is from dieting too hard (anorexia) or it can simply be genetic. Lots of northern Europeans have trouble with anemia. It is totally no big deal unless it is pernicious anemia which is still not contagious but can be very life threatening.

Noooooooooooooooooooo, no, no, no, no. Anemia DOES NOT mean she has HIV or any other disease of the blood. What she has is not contagious to you. It means that she has a lower than normal red blood cell account. For more information check out the link below. https://www.mayoclinic.com/health/anemia/DS00321

Yes, she could have anemia without having HIV/AIDS. Has she been tested for HIV/AIDS? Have you? It supposed to be a simple test. Go to the health department in your city or county.

Hi Leon, Anemia is a medical condition in which the red blood cell count or hemoglobin is less than normal. The normal level of hemoglobin is generally different in males and females. A proper blood test is the only way that you can know if she has HIV/AIDS. If you don't want to do that then you must check if she has the symptoms. If you are in a hurry to get all the information in one place quickly, then I recommend a book called '100 Facts About Aids in India'. Although the book has many India specific references, the general information on HIV/Aids is very good. Some of the information in this guide includes - 1. Basic Information 2. Transmission 3. Testing of HIV & Aids 4. Risk Reduction 5. Diagnosis & Treatment of HIV & Aids 6. HIV & Aids in Children & Youth etc... Link to book website - http://aidsawareness.in
