What are the laws behind professional sports and HIV/AIDS or other blood transferable diseases

What are the laws behind professional sports and HIV/AIDS or other blood transferable diseases?
Are you allowed to play professional sports if you have a disease transferable by blood? How are the medical records released? In a situation of being a pro athlete with a blood transferable disease do they have to give other players acknowledgement of the disease?

Well they let magic johnson play basketball when he was HIV possitive. I guess that it depends on the sport you are playing. In the case of boxing you can not have a contagious blood desease and fight due to the risk of getting cut and the other fighter comming into contact with infected blood. So my best answer is it depends on the sport being played and how healthy the athlete is.
