To the first answerer: Whoa!!! It's found in people as young as 15--isn't that heartbreaking? To the second answerer--I don't understand how this epidemic has sprung loose like that in Africa and clearly it's starting here. How does something like that get so out of control? Someone suggested that the epidemic in africa was spread intentionally. As inhuman as that sounds--they said that these people were "given" this disease which is why its out of control.

i know that the most sexually transmitted diseases are are found in people from ages 15-27

its found in those that are even younger in african countries such as south Africa and Kenya AIDS is killing 60% of the population. Children are becoming orphans because their parents have AIDS and so do they, it is a global problem.
