Has anyone seen actual proof of someone getting healed of HIV/AIDS

Has anyone seen actual proof of someone getting healed of HIV/AIDS?
I have seen preachers and watched things saying people were healed from it.

MAGIC JOHNSON has the answer

The former Los Angeles Laker Magic Johnson! I've read that his current blood tests no longer show any signs of HIV. However, since HIV is a virus, he will have to take medication for the rest of his life.

Magic Johnson wasn't cured. There are no known cases yet. However they have discovered that women in parts of Africa where aids is rife have a higher immunity against it than others. That's the closet they've come so far.

Impossible. There is NO CURE for HIV. Medications can help people with HIV live longer, healthier, but there is no medication or other treatment that can get rid of HIV at this point. On reason that there is no cure is that the virus mutates so much that a vaccine or medication may kill one or 2 strains of it, but not all mutations. There was recent news of the possibility of using bone marrow transplant to cure HIV, but it was only one case. That patient needs to be followed for a long time, and the success (if that is the case) needs to be repeated in many other patients before it could be considered as a valid cure. Also, there are a lot of concerns about the safety and cost of using bone marrow transplant to treat HIV.

Hiv can not be cured and if you get it you just no your life is over cause there is no cure.

There was an article about a man in Germany that received a bone marrow transplant this is supposedly free of the HIV he had. But I have never heard about any other experiences. Magic is not "cured" he is lucky enough that his viral load is no detectable, but that does not mean he is cured. People who stick to the medications and a good medical regiment can be undetectable, not cured.

There is no cure, yet. And no one has been 'healed'.... The case that has been mentioned about the bone marrow transplant is interesting, though. There are a small percentage of people who due to a genetic mutation received at conception from both parents, they seem to be immune to HIV infection. This gene mutation has been studied for many years. The gentleman in question whose HIV SEEMS to have been eradicated was very ill and required a bone marrow transplant (bone marrow is where many of our bodies cells are created). HIs doctor when looking for a bone marrow match decided to cross reference with a person who also had the mutation (I am not sure how s/he did that!) on a whim. Thinking that it may offer some positive benefit. When getting a bone marrow transplant, the patient has to have their immune system depleted drastically before the transplant. It is possible that this combination helped to eradicate HIV in this particular patient, but because HIV can hide in reservoirs it needs to be monitored aggressively for some time before being sure. This is also a drastic procedure that is lifethreatening in and of itself. There are HUGE risks involved.
